Mpumalanga Country House is built on a 40 m rock mass on top of a mountain, surrounded by flowing gardens and unspoiled bush overlooking the Mara valley.

Getting to paradise is never an easy journey.

However, if you are prepared to travel for 13 km on a sand road, and your vehicle has a good ground clearance, you could well get there, and find out why some have called it ‘a step away from heaven’.

If the road is a problem, or you don’t feel like driving, we have a very reputable company that could bring you and your friends or family from Gauteng to us at a better rate than you could drive yourself.

This is a bush lover’s paradise, and guests can spot Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck, Duiker and other small animals that roam on the farm. If you are lucky, you may even spot them in the garden.

The house is approximately 63 km from the Malelane Gate to the Kruger National Park.

Take a break and escape to a place where time seems to stand still, enjoy some ‘bubbly’ on top of the rock, or sit in front of an open fireplace with a good bottle of wine.

Let us tempt you with our exclusive little paradise in the bush, with a bit of luxury.

Enjoy a weekend getaway at Mpumalanga Country House.

Unfortunately, due to the rouge terrain we are not child friendly.

However, you are welcome to bring your pets for a visit as we are animal friendly.
